Project Management

As an executive or director in the healthcare informatics industry, what concerns you most when embarking on a new project? Is it the challenge of the new project itself, whether or not you have the skill set within your ranks to pull it off, or is your customer (the end-user) going to be happy with the results of the organizations decision? You may ask, "How am I going to balance the project pool that my team must execute based on commitments to my executive team?" These are only a few issues that keep most executives and directors up at night. So, how do you effectively mitigate some of these concerns/risks? One answer is by investing in the appropriate project management skill set to make sure your project investment will be successful. Experience VCS. IT's what differentiates us

PMO JumpStart: Many facilities are either planning on implementing a project management office, or are looking to standardize their approach to implementation and process improvement projects. Our PMO JumpStart software and optional related services provide an excellent way to get the ball rolling. The software tools (which run in a Microsoft SharePoint environment, which many facilities already possess) are easy to install. Our staff can help you implement your PMO and improve project management practices to help maximize your return on investment. VCS can also award your in-house project managers PDUs toward their PMI certification in conjunction with the JumpStart training.
